Illidan is driving me INSANE. He's adorable and I love him lots. He cuddles with me and purrs and alkjdslkfj he's fucking win. But omg. He's driving me insane. He's so small and gets into everything and HOLY FUCK his little claws are sharp, and he loves to claw his way up my back and bite my head. :| Some tiny part of me can't wait until he turns into a lazy cat. XD But I should enjoy his little kitten cuteness~ ♥

I am a geared hunter. I pull a lot of threat. It's what I do. If all my shit procs at once, I have a whole lot of explosive shots, and something like 3400 agility. I understand that if I cannot manage this and pull aggro, then I die and it's my own damn fault.
But for you to get on my case and tell me to NEVER use Misdirect in a 5 man instance? What the hell. Am I telling YOU how to manage YOUR threat, as the tank? No. Why the hell would you get on my case about mine, then? More importantly, why would you flip out about me using an ability that helps you? "You shouldn't have to MD in a 5 man instance, ever."
Oh, okay. I guess that 6.8k I just pulled on that boss doesn't pull any threat at all.

So I'm going to Boracay for a few days (from 27 to 30). Bummer. I honestly do not want to go to some beach, even if it's like, one of the best beaches in the Philippines evars, even if it is with the whole family. We've been going to the beach every single year for the past two yers and it's getting really old, even if it's a different beach this time.
You know what I'd rather do? Spend a whole day in a museum and read plaques. D:< I don't know if that's abnormal or anything but it surely beats getting wet, getting scorched, looking at all these damn people running around, going out to eat BEACH FOOD OR FILIPINO FOOD D:< and whatever. :| (NO I DO NOT LIKE TAPSILOG D:<)
I'm now just trying to pack. Note word, trying. I hate travelling, but I honestly wouldn't have minded if we went somewhere COLD. D: But no, we're going to a beach during the time when it's supposed to be cold blah blah blah.
Why couldn't I just stay home and chill with the laptop? Could have used the money for my ticket to buy me an Xbox360 or a spanking new PC. D:< I wasn't even asked, "DO YOU WANT TO GO TO BORACAY?!" it just HAPPENED. D: This lack of choices is why I hate family outings. My mom was all, OH FAMILY OUTINGS SO NICE :D but I'm like NOES D:< I'D RATHER GO WITH FRIENDS BECAUSE WE GET TO CHOOSE WHERE WE WANT TO GO AND MAKE SURE THE HOTEL WE STAY IN HAVE WI-FUCKING-FI.
I'm bringing my netbook though, despite the protests from the parents. SORRY I'M SUCH A COMPUTER GEEK. But in case I'm bored to hell because I hate the sun, I'll just go read smutty yaoi manga or play some Warcraft. D:< I NEED IT FOR MY SANITY.

My Christmas ended up being okay. :)
Mom showed up after all. She brought me stocking stuff (yay practical things like shampoo and dish towels), like 5 batches of various Christmas cookies, chocolates, $100 to put toward rent (so I can now pay it WOOT!) and a turkey dinner!
Roomies and I also had pancakes and eggs for breakfast, then watched Mission Hill all day. I forgot that show ever existed, buahaha. And of course Adam and I got to celebrate in our little in-game way, with promises that next year will be real. He's getting a car in a couple of weeks, and suddenly the distance doesn't seem so bad. It's only a seven hour drive, and while I can't afford a flight, I can definitely find the $100 or so it'll cost in gas to drive up here. So a visit is in the VERY near future! ♥
Also, kitten is named Illidan, and he is adorable. Mom loves him! I'm so happy to have a kitty around again, even if his little claws hurt!
Finally, guess I'm back to work tomorrow. Am glad about this, yay! :) |

This Christmas has been shitty. I have no money and can't afford to pay rent cos I got called off 4, most likely 5, days in a row. I'm not with Adam and I want to be. My mom bailed on me because of bad weather and her being sick, and even though she's promised they'll drive to Freddy tomorrow, they probably won't.
My friend might have cancer. Matt's transferring his main off our server in Warcraft.
Adam's going to Canada for a few days and it's not New Brunswick and I'll have no way of getting in touch with him while he's gone.
Illidan, my new kitten, is the only thing keeping me from a complete emotional breakdown right now. Merry fucking Christmas, Holly. Indeed. I'll spend it by leveling my troll shaman to 70. Such an awesome holiday fun time. |

Before leaving Brooklyn I spent at least four hours scanning in like half of my sketchbook! I can't really show a lot of it publicly, but this is a huge chunk of it! Nothing's really quality, but there's a good quantity of it! That counts for something, right? 8D
Just to warn you fellas, the first few images are figure drawings with nudity and implied nudity. If that's not your thing, go ahead and skip to the next cut!

I have no idea what is going on in this photo, but it makes me laugh every time. Declan was very, very drunk. Shortly thereafter, we tried to get into a stripclub that charged 20 Euros cover, and his drunk friend got chided by the bouncer: "You better keep an eye on that guy", after trying to convince the bouncer that we shouldn't have to pay cover for their shitty bar. Good times.

Day 6: My Biggest Pet Peeve
People who speak to me, or others, condescendingly. I hate, hate, HATE condescension from ANYONE, and I find that those most likely to speak condescendingly, have the least right to do so.
It was the worst in Subway. Knowing that I was 6 credits from having a degree, and being talked down to like I had an IQ of 43 by some fake-titted Roxy-wearing patch wife whose biggest achievement in life was laying on her back and getting knocked up by a guy rich enough to buy her an Escalade/Hummer REALLY stuck in my craw in the worst way imaginable.
A close second would be texting on a cellphone during: class, while at dinner with people, while hanging out with friends, etc. Seriously, you are surrounded by interesting, engaging, and sometimes emotionally close people, and you'd rather type "LOL WHUT U DOIN NOTIN IM IN CLASS LOL LOL LOL" brings me to the brink of strangulation. It's the height of fucking rudeness.

The other day I was watching Night at the Museum: II because the sproglet wanted to see a dinosaur skeleton come to life again, and was suddenly seriously disturbed. It has Custer, whining about how all he is remembered for is getting his men killed (how 'bout participation in genocide? I thought that was the biggie), and then the night guard goes, "Oh no! You'll be remembered for fighting museum exhibits now! Man up!"
Good, clean fun for kids!
... Or: hello something we'll never ever get on DVD. I'm sure there's more offensive stuff in there but I wasn't paying close attention, and that was what crossed the line for me.
